  • Technical data: device, browser, IP address, and usage information to keep the service secure and improve performance.

2. How We Use Information

  • To prevent fraud and abuse, and to enforce our Terms.
  • To analyze usage and improve DEP’s features and reliability.
  • To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

3. Sharing of Information

  • With organizers: If you purchase or claim a pass, your relevant information (such as name, email, pass details, scan status) is shared with the event organizer for event operations.
  • With service providers: We use trusted vendors such as Stripe (payments), email providers, and infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf.
  • For legal reasons: We may share information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

4. Cookies & Tracking

DEP may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work properly if disabled.

5. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy and in our Data Retention Policy, or as required by law.

  • If you receive marketing communications from us, you can opt out at any time through the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No online service can be completely secure, but we work to protect DEP and monitor for abuse.

8. Children

DEP is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will delete it.
