Organizer Terms & Stripe Connect Addendum

These Organizer Terms (“Organizer Terms”) supplement the DigitalEventPass Terms of Service. By applying for an organization account, creating events, or connecting a Stripe account, you agree to these additional terms.

1. Organizer Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the events you create and the passes you sell.
• You must provide accurate information about your organization, contact details, and event content.
• You are solely responsible for:
  • Compliance with local laws and venue rules
  • Safety and conduct at your events
  • Customer service for your attendees

2. Merchant of Record & Stripe Connect

• When you connect your Stripe account, you are the merchant of record for all related pass sales.
• You must maintain your Stripe account in good standing and comply with Stripe’s Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
• All customer payments, refunds, chargebacks, and tax reporting for your events flow through your Stripe account.
• DEP may suspend or limit your use of the platform if your Stripe account is restricted, disconnected, or used for prohibited activities.

3. Fees & Payouts

• DEP charges a platform fee per pass, as shown in your organization settings or as otherwise agreed.
• That fee is collected automatically through Stripe Connect (for example via an application fee).
• You receive net payouts from Stripe (less DEP fees and Stripe’s own processing fees) according to Stripe’s payout schedule.

4. Refunds, Cancellations & Policies

• You must clearly communicate your refund and cancellation policy to attendees (e.g., on your website, event pages, or confirmation emails).
• You are responsible for issuing any refunds or credits and for responding to customer support inquiries about your events.
• DEP may show links to your own Terms, Privacy Policy, or Refund Policy if you provide them in your organization settings; otherwise, DEP’s platform policies will be displayed at checkout.

5. Data & Privacy

• You will only use attendee data collected via DEP for legitimate event operations (e.g., communication about the event, check-in, safety, or required reporting).
• You must protect attendee data and comply with applicable privacy and data protection laws.
• DEP’s Privacy Policy and Data Retention Policy describe how DEP stores and retains data within the platform.

6. Use of DEP Brand & Platform

• You may reference DigitalEventPass as the platform powering your passes (e.g., “Passes delivered via DigitalEventPass.”).
• You may not misrepresent your relationship with DEP or imply sponsorship or endorsement beyond normal platform usage.

7. Suspension or Termination

DEP may suspend or terminate your organizer account if you:

• Violate these Organizer Terms or the main Terms of Service;
• Use DEP for prohibited activities or fraudulent behavior;
• Repeatedly generate excessive disputes or chargebacks;
• Fail to maintain a valid Stripe account or required legal compliance.

8. Acceptance

By submitting an organization application or connecting a Stripe account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Organizer Terms, the main Terms of Service, and all applicable Stripe terms.
